How do you handle insurance claims?
We want our patients to have a stress-free experience! That’s why the Smiles on Progress Ave Dentistry team will do their best to help our patients navigate their insurance plans. We will submit insurance claims to the insurance company electronically, and they will then directly send the payment to Smiles on Progress Ave Dentistry. This way, our patients do not have to worry about extra paperwork.

How often should I visit the dentist?
Maintaining your dental health is very important! It is recommended for most people to visit the dentist at least twice a year (every six months). What happens during a complete examination?

A root canal is a process completed to remove damaged or diseased nerve tissue from a tooth. A dentist will perform complete anesthetization around the affected tooth area to ensure a comfortable experience.
What is a dental crown?
A dental crown is a procedure done to protect a tooth after undergoing significant treatment such as a root canal or an extensive filling. The crown will completely wrap around the tooth to prevent any future fractures or cracks.
